To further reinforce safety management responsibilities in the transport of hazardous chemicals, identify potential risks along the transport chain, and solidify the safety defense line, Fertilizer Company invited representatives from six partner hazardous chemical transport enterprises to hold a thematic exchange meeting on safe transport of hazardous chemicals on August 31.

During the meeting, representatives from each cooperating logistics transport company shared their safety management practices, exchanging experiences in areas such as vehicle operation and maintenance, driver safety education, and routine risk prevention and control. The parties also held discussions on emergency response plans, focusing on various high-risk scenarios encountered during the transport of hazardous chemicals. The meeting briefed participants on the results of Fertilizer Company's questionnaire survey of hazardous chemical drivers and on‑site safety inspection findings for the major cooperating transport vehicles. All attendees watched a safety awareness video on hazardous chemical transport.

The meeting emphasized that safety is the top priority for the enterprise. First, safety management must be taken seriously in mindset, avoiding the tendency to prioritize business performance over safety. Second, regular attention should be paid to drivers' mental and emotional status, with efforts to understand their work and living conditions, so as to mitigate personnel-related risks at the source. Third, the development of information-based safety management should be accelerated, leveraging digital tools to empower safety control and improve management efficiency. Fourth, emergency response management should be enhanced through realistic emergency drills, with multi‑party coordination to contain risks within the smallest possible scope.
